Diet or Nutrtional Program?

First off, Diets and Nutritional Programs are completely different. So what the first three letters of the word "D I E t" spell? Exactly! DIE, well that is the main reason why 99% of people that are on the so called " diets" end up failing to achieve the fitness goals. We don't fail diets, they fail us! Most diets such as the Famous " Low Carb Diet" and others, contain nutritional imbalances. Nutrition must be balanced in order to achieve maximum results. Therefore I tell all my clients to stay away from diets, and follow my Nutritional Program.

What should a Nutritional Program consist of?

Carbs - Our body's main source of energy.

Examples

Brown Rice
Oats
Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Yams
Whole Wheats Foods
Protien - Rebuilds soft tissues in the body.
Examples

Fish
Chicken
Turkey
Lean Ground Beef
Lean Steak
Eggs

Fats - Another source of energy for the body, helps perform all bodily functions.

-Healthy Fats-

Examples
Natural Style Peanut Butter

Olive Oil or Safflower Oil

Nuts (peanuts, almonds, walnuts, etc.)

Flaxseed Oil

(%'s may vary depending on the meal time.) Basic Meal - Carbs = 40%
Protein = 40%
Fats = 20%

So there you have it in a a nutshell of what a Nutritional Program should consist of.
Nutritional Programs should not be boring, always switch up the foods to make it more enjoyable. Before you know it will no longer need a Nutritional Program, it will be your lifestyle!
